Hassan Abbas

Hassan Abbas worked as data journalist for a Pakistani non-profit media organization and as a multimedia broadcast journalist for the BBC. He is also a current international Fulbright grantee enrolled in NYU’s Studio 20 graduate program. He has experience covering a broad range of topics about Pakistan such as politics, law, economics, health, violence against women, media and culture. He has also previously worked on a Project about terrorism victims, “The Bereaved”, that has influenced him to look for human centric stories which are sometimes sidelined due to daily news cycles.
