Mariana Janjácomo

Editorial

Mariana is a Brazilian journalist specializing in broadcast journalism, with nine years of experience in covering a wide range of topics from entertainment to national and international politics. In Brazil, she covered federal and local elections, breaking news and protests. She is more and more interested in stories about people who are struggling to overcome social disparities in the world. That is why she decided to tell the story of how people in favelas in Brazil are coping with the pandemic. This crisis sheds even more light on the historical inequalities in the country.
